Heavy Rescue 29 is a 2023 E-One Cyclone, Advanced Life Support heavy-duty rescue apparatus. Heavy Rescue 29 is the primary response unit for technical rescue and vehicle accidents with extrication, as well as structure fires. Carrying high-angle and below-grade rescue gear, extrication tools (AKA Jaws of Life), Cascade system, and medical equipment, including a cardiac monitor. Heavy Rescue 29 is also equipped with a retractable awning to provide shade for rehab during extended operations, such as a fire.
