A Message from The Chief 

On behalf of the men and women of the High Springs Fire Department, Welcome! Since 1913, our department has served the citizens of High Springs with pride, spirit, and tradition. If you ever have questions, comments or concerns, or just want a tour of the station and trucks, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Thank you for your continued support of your fire department. 


The High Springs Fire Department (HSFD) is a 24/7 combination Advanced Life Support (ALS) fire department, made up of full-time, part-time, and volunteer members. Our daily staffing consists of a five-person crew working 24-hour shifts.  We operate five pieces of apparatus out of one station located in the heart of High Springs. HSFD is an ISO-rated Class-4 department.

The mission of the City of High Springs Fire Department is to enhance the quality of life of our community. We will accomplish this through community interaction, fire prevention education, aggressive planning, and response preparation. We will respond in a safe and timely manner delivering our services with the best equipment and by a family of employees committed to exceeding the needs and expectations of our citizens.
