Effective May 1, 2023, WASTE PRO is now the new solid waste collection provider for the City of High Springs. As part of this change, residents will note several changes to pick-up days.
SOLID WASTE (TRASH) collection days are either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday- depending on where in the city you live. Your new Waste Pro trash can (green body, blue lid) will have a sticker on the top indicating what day your garbage will be collected.

YARD WASTE collection day is Wednesday, CITYWIDE. Yard waste piles should be no bigger than 6 feet long, 4 feet wide, 3 feet in height. Branches can be no longer than 6 feet and diameter no wider than 6 inches.
RECYCLING collection day is Friday, CITYWIDE
**Note: ALL RECYCLING (cans, bottles, cardboard, etc) go into the SAME blue bin with green lid. NO sorting is required!**
