UNFINISHED BUSINESS

1. CONSIDER AN AMENDED INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF GAINESVILLE FOR THE REPAIR AND SERVICE OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS AND BEACONS.

2. CONSIDER AMENDMENT TO THE PROPOSED MUNICIPALITY FIRE AUTHORITY FIRE SERVICES CONTRACT.

3. CONSIDER RESOLUTION 2008-F, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FORM OF A PROPOSED AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE MUNICIPALITY FIRE AUTHORITY (MFA) AND THE ALACHUA COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS; AGREEING THAT THE CITY OF HIGH SPRINGS WILL PERFORM ACCORDING TO THE TERMS OF SUCH AGREEMENT IN CONSIDERATION OF THE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WHICH CREATED THE MFA; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

NEW BUSINESS 1. CONSIDER RESOLUTION 2008-E, A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A TEMPORARY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TASK FORCE TO MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE CITY COMMISSION RELATING TO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT NEEDS FACING THE CITY OF HIGH SPRINGS; ASSIGNING AUTHORITY AND RESPONSIBILITY; ESTABLISHING A PERIOD OF TASK FORCE EXISTENCE; ESTABLISHING MEMBERSHIP; ESTABLISHING THE OFFICE OF CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR; ESTABLISHING MEETING AND RECORDS REQUIREMENTS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. 2. APPOINT ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TASK FORCE MEMBERS. 3. CONSIDER REVIEWING BIDS AND CONSIDER AWARDING CONTRACT FOR WATER TREATMENT PLANT FLOW METER REPLACEMENT.
