Residential and Business Crime Watch:

The true foundation of community policing. These two separate programs have been designed to educate the resident/merchant/employee on the principals of basic crime prevention. It will also bring the HSPD and the participants together to form a strong partnership where together we can and will make a difference in our community.

Personal Safety talks:

The HSPD will come to your home, church, or business and will talk about measures everyone can and should take on a daily basis to help keep them safer while at home or out in the community. Talks can vary based on the age group or necessity.

Robbery Prevention:

Businesses are urged to take the measures necessary to ensure the safety of the employees and customers before crime can strike. The HSPD offers to any business the opportunity for us to come to their location and discuss the principals of robbery prevention. A fast paced PowerPoint presentation is used to educate the student/employee on measures that should be followed before, during and after a robbery occurs.

Gun Safety:

A very important program designed to educate the citizen on the laws of the state of Florida, while emphasizing basic gun safety and education. This is not a basic firearms course or a prerequisite for a concealed firearms permit. The HSPD has free gun locks for those interested.

Computer Safety:

With the use of the fast paced internet, criminals are increasing their ability to prey on people of all ages. Computer safety talks are offered to members of our community starting with school aged children. Links for more information can be found by following this link .
